Charlotte Frøyland Earns Festival Recognition for “The Internal Bleeding of Sophie and Sam”

(Los Angeles, CA) — Charlotte Frøyland’s short film, The Internal Bleeding of Sophie and Sam, has completed its independent festival circuit, earning recognition at five festivals and competitions across North America -  including a Best Leading Actress win at the Best Shorts Competition.

The film, a psychological drama exploring guilt, loneliness, and the danger of suppressing past mistakes, marks Charlotte’s debut as director of her own screenplay. Having previously written, produced, and starred in her own screen work, stepping into the director’s chair for the first time represented a significant creative milestone -  and one the festival circuit has affirmed.
