Guilt-ridden and lonely, Sophie and Sam seek solace in their newfound relationship. Their story depicts the danger of suppressing past mistakes: obsession, romantic ideation, and reckless behavior. This is Charlotte's first solo endeavor in screenwriting and directing. Produced by Allison Rishwain, Steve Hauser, and Darius Valentine, it is headed to festivals in the fall of 2024.

HOURGLASS

"Hourglass" is a female-driven psychological thriller, starring and co-written by Charlotte Frøyland. The main character, Coraline, has many pursuers. After one man goes too far, Coraline's life is turned upside down. She promises herself she'll do whatever it takes to never be a victim again. "Hourglass" is a timely short film featuring female empowerment based on real-life experiences.
